Santa's Boot

I'm on the road so I have slim pickens for inspiration for Sundays with Santa but this is one of my favorite decorations.  It was given to me by two dear friends filled  to the brim with chocolate.  Every year I put it out and fill it with more chocolate!

This is a rather large ceramic boot - probably 6 inches long by 4 inches high.  It is dusted with glitter to add a little holiday sparkle.  I've looked for something similar through the years to give as gifts with little luck.

There is something just so adorable about Santa's boot that speaks to my heart.  Perhaps it is associated with the friends who gave it to me.  I know it is a part of the warm celebration of our holidays - days filled with family, friends,  food and good cheer!
