Sentimental Ornaments

I have so many sentimental ornaments with precious memories attached to them.  This little pretty came to me today from my Grandma's possessions.  She has been gone for 30 years.  My uncle passed away recently and this was in the attic of their home:

The Planning Begins - Cookies!

Well, the planning begins inside my wee imagination!  This is last year's cookie extravaganza.  Did you know most cookies freeze well for three months?  Last year I made fifteen (I think) different Christmas cookies.  Who knows what this year will bring but it's time to begin!

So, I'm dreaming of Christmas cookies.  Can't wait to fill my house with the aroma of Christmas baking!

Christmas Inspiration

I had a closet disaster recently.  In cleaning up the mess this week, I found this miniature (1:12 scale) sleigh.  Having no recollection of its purchase, it filled me with delight! I pulled out Santa for a quick pic.

Perhaps its not too early to decorate the dollhouse???
